Bangladesh Faecal Sludge Management Network is a common and collective platform for the sector actors to generate ideas, share views, influence policy and practice, and raise a collective voice to meet the challenges of sanitation sector.

Drive private sector engagement in urban sanitation value chain and faecal sludge management

Advance faecal sludge management standardisation and certification processes for both service processes and end use products.

Saving our Heroes
We already know that faecal sludge is dangerous to human health, manual emptying poses such risks to the emptiers health which is unimaginable and mechanical emptying along with wearing proper safety gear mitigates a high portion of the risks. However, some professional hazard could still exist.

Exploring the Potentiality of the FS by-Product (Co-compost)
NGO Forum for Public Health has been implementing a project ‘Resilient, Inclusive & Innovative Cities of Bangladesh’ and been ensuring the safely managed sanitation services through establishing a model Faecal Sludge Management jointly with Mymensingh City Corporation funded by Australian Aid and OXFAM.
