The 4th FSM Convention, organized by the Bangladesh FSM Network, convened on February 5th, 2020, at the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB) Auditorium in Dhaka.

The convention aimed to promote sustainable FSM in Bangladesh. The event brought together government officials, civil society, financial institutions, academia, and private sector representatives. Key topics included achieving SDGs through proper faecal sludge management, the role of the FSM Network, and the importance of involving women in the WASH sector.

Technical sessions and panel discussions addressed the growth of safe FSM services, private sector engagement, capacity building, and financing. The convention highlighted the need for collaboration among various stakeholders and a holistic approach to sanitation management.
